The Boeing Aerodynamic Shroud is a new antenna fairing designed to accommodate multiple antenna providers and In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) solution providers. This enables operators to switch IFC providers without having to replace all the equipment. Usually, all that would be required is to swap out the modem and some in-cabin Line Replaceable Units (LRUs).
The AML STC, effective for most commercial aircraft types, allows for installation of the 500-32 series survival ELT in the cockpit or cabin.
The STC complies with the latest airworthiness requirements for installation of non-rechargeable lithium batteries per ETSO 142b.
--- STC approvals, EASA, FAA, TCCA, ANAC, HK CAD ---
Aptoz has developed the EASA and FAA AML STC effective for most aircraft types that allows for the installation of Collins Aerospace (Kidde) Halotron BrX handheld fire extinguishers in the cockpit and cabin.
EASA and FAA STCs available.
The use of automated external defibrillators (AED) is essential to increase the chances of survival in case of a cardiac arrythmias such as ventricular fibrillation (VF) and non-perfusing ventricular tachycardia (VT) when used in the first 10 minutes.
AMC1 CAT.IDE.A.220 (b) (4) stipulates that the aircraft operators should carry automated external defibrillator (AED) on board all aircraft equipped with a first-aid kit and required to carry at least one cabin crew.
The EASA STC developed by Aptoz installs full height G7 galley unit replacing existing underbin G7 galley unit.
New european rule making will be come applicable:
•EASA HalonGuide Nov 2019
•EU: Regulation (EC) No 1005/2009
•EU: Commission Regulation (EU) No 2017/605
and will prohibit the use of Halon filled units per 1 Jan 2026.

Transform your 737 NG or MAX cabin with 737 Space Bins to gain 50% or more usable overhead capacity. Fit more carry‑ons, reduce gate‑checks, and create a calmer, faster boarding experience. Convert reclaimed space into operational gains and new revenue opportunities through quicker turnarounds, higher aircraft utilization, and improved passenger satisfaction.
This is an AML STC project for the installation of True Blue Power TS32 series Emergency Battery Power Supply (EBPS) in various aircraft. The TS32 EBPS PN 6430032-() is introduced as a direct replacement of existing power supply assemblies PN RPS1-B, PN D717-02-001 or PN BPS7-3 depending on the aircraft type. The TS32 is designed to supply DC power for aircraft loads such as lighting and other critical equipment in the event of primary power loss. The TS32 is a sophisticated power system that utilizes state-of-the-art NiMH cell technology which provides improvements in performance, safety, and life. The TS32 series is fully compliant with the latest DO-293A MOPS for Nickel-Cadmium, Nickel Metal-Hydride and Lead-Acid Batteries and has been tested to environmental and performance qualification that meets the DO-160G standard.
Contracted to develop a 189 Y/C pax on B737-8 MAX, PMV Engineering received the final EASA STC less than 5 months after the first discussions with the lessor.
