Installation of HR-Smith Techtest 500-32 series portable ELT

The AML STC, effective for most commercial aircraft types, allows for installation of the 500-32 series survival ELT in the cockpit or cabin. 

The STC complies with the latest airworthiness requirements for installation of non-rechargeable lithium batteries per ETSO 142b.

Halon Free Handheld Fire Extinguisher installation

AED installation

The use of automated external defibrillators (AED) is essential to increase the chances of survival in case of a cardiac arrythmias such as ventricular fibrillation (VF) and non-perfusing ventricular tachycardia (VT) when used in the first 10 minutes.

AMC1 CAT.IDE.A.220 (b) (4) stipulates that the aircraft operators should carry automated external defibrillator (AED) on board all aircraft equipped with a first-aid kit and required to carry at least one cabin crew.

Repairs

Aptoz provides EASA or FAA approved repairs or repair specifications as:

  1. Unrepaired damage (fly-on) 
  2. Temporary repairs
  3. Permanent repairs

We repair composite and metal structure that is damaged beyond structural repair limits. We routinely provide MRO repairs for cowlings, thrust reversers and other removable components that the OEMs want you to remove and send to shop. We provide AOG fly-ons with unrepaired damage and also repairs to all parts of the fuselage, empennage, wings and other structure primary or secondary and also fatigue critical structure.  

We provide stage 1 (static), 2 (fatigue and damage tolerance) and 3 (inspection program) approvals. We can even provide stage 2 and 3 if the OEM has only provided stage 1.

New european rule making will be come applicable:

•EU: Regulation (EC) No 1005/2009

•EU: Commission Regulation (EU) No 2017/605
