The complete package contains everything required for either retrofit or forward fit installations on large jet aircraft. CPDLC (controller pilot data link communications) is a two-way data-link system by which controllers can transmit non-urgent strategic messages to an aircraft as an alternative to voice communications. The message is displayed on a flight deck visual display. The CPDLC application provides air-ground data communication for the ATC service.

Limitations:

• This CPDLC installation has to be used only during the cruise flight phase above FL 285.
• This CPDLC installation has to be used only for non-time critical messages.

Replacement of existing CVR for a new 120min type in Part 25 aircraft

The GDC Group has announced her progress on its development of the Supplemental Type Certificates (STC) for the installation of the Honeywell’s Ka-Band JetWave hardware on different Boeing and Airbus aircraft.

The FAA/EASA STC's include those in Boeing Business Jet, Airbus Corporate Jet and Commercial configuration.

Replacement of existing Cockpit Voice Recorder for a Universal Avionics CVR- 120A

This STC certifies the Boeing 737-800 as PED tolerant. This status is made explicit in an AFM Supplement.

T-ped approval per SBF100-23-062 for the Fokker 70 and Fokker 100 aircraft, including the update of the limitations sections of the AFM.

For non-Fokker aircraft, Fokker Services can support the operational approval and/or provide an STC upon the operators choice.
