Dual SBAS Landing System for Boeing 737-Classic Series

Logic Air’s STC integrates renowned CMC’s CMA-5024 GPS/SBAS Landing System Sensor Units and CMA-5025 SLS control panels (or Gables’ Touch DU – EASA 10075510) with the aircraft systems (FMS, EFIS and DFCS) to provide operational and safety benefits of Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance (LPV) fully coupled precision landing capability.

ADS-B Out is an airspace requirement and already required in many parts of the world. A more stringent version of the ADS-B Out mandate is required in Europe (SESAR program) since December 2020 and in the USA (NextGen program) since January 2020. These mandates require a version 2 (DO-260B) ATC Mode-S Transponder as well as a more capable GNSS Sensor. ADS-B is a surveillance technology in which an aircraft periodically reports GNSS position together with aircraft specific information such as Flight ID, Aircraft category, etc. This information is received by ATC or other aircraft and can be used to enhance airspace usage and improve situational awareness.

The Talon Aerospace anti-collision centerline/fuselage strobe light is designed to replace all incandescent based centerline lights installed on Boeing, Airbus, McDonnell/Douglas, Embraer, Bombardier and other regional aircraft. 

During retrofit the operator will purchase an install kit, which includes an adaptor and harness assembly. On airframes that have accessibility provisions inside the interior the upper centerline light allows removal from inside the cabin. The harness and adaptor will last the lifetime of the airframe.
