Introduction of Second Flight Management Computer for Boeing B737-Classic Series.
Dual FMC is required for transoceanic/extended over-water operation.
Dual FMC greatly improves the aircraft’s versatility, meets the requirement of RNP 4, RNP 2, RNP 1, RNP APCH, RNP AR (per SL-02-025-D).
Designed to accommodate provisioned or non-provisioned aircraft. No additional software and/or Service Bulletins are required.
Increases the aircraft’s dispatchability
Retains navigation capability in the event of first FMC failure
Simplifies CAA issuance of RNP 1/RNP 0.3 operational certificate
Enhances aircraft value (imparting it with identical operational performance to newer generation aircraft, when coupled with Logic Air’s GPS STC)
Logic Air’s STC adds a Flight Management Computer (FMC) to a non- FMC-provisioned aircraft; the installation is fully integrated with all aircraft systems and coupled with the F/D and A/P for LNAV/VNAV.
Logic Air’s installation kit is complete and reconfigures the existing FMC into FMC-L and introduces FMC-R (in E1-2 shelf). Furthermore, this installation conforms to the Boeing Airplane Flight Manual, so crew training is not required.
