AFIRS also includes ACARS like services such as automated block and flight times collection and reporting into operational systems, global flight tracking, two-way text messaging (iPad, MCDU), aircraft health monitoring including engine data collection for trending, engine/airframe exceedances, real-time flight data management.

ADS-B Out V2 modification for the B767 by Fokker Services

ADS-B Out is an airspace requirement and already required in many parts of the world. A more stringent version of the ADS-B Out mandate is required in Europe (SESAR program) since December 2020 and in the USA (NextGen program) since January 2020. These mandates require a version 2 (DO-260B) ATC Mode-S Transponder as well as a more capable GNSS Sensor. We can provide you with HW TRA-100B and/or ACSS NXT-800 transponders. Rockwell Collins Multi Mode Receiver (MMR) GLU-2100 installation

The Rockwell Collins GLU-2100 Multi-Mode Receiver (MMR) Installation consists of replacing the existing Honeywell RMA-55B, Thales TLS755, or Rockwell Collins GLU-920/925 MMRs with Rockwell Collins GLU-2100 MMRs.  In addition, the existing TSO-C129 GPS antennas are replaced with TSO-C190 GPS antennas.

This change provides customized work instructions to replace the Instrument Landing System (ILS) receivers with ILS/GPS 

Multi-Mode Receivers (MMRs), and 100K/200K Flight Management Computers with Pegasus Flight Management 

Computers. The installed Hybrid Multi-Purpose Control Display Units are replaced with Future Air Navigation System 

Capable Multi-Purpose Control Display Units according to SB 767-34-1022. The existing GNSSU CMA-3024 previously 

installed for ADS-B Out are deactivated, and MMR GPS source connected to the ATC transponders.

Installation of Gables ATC/TCAS Control Panel - PN G6992-242 (ADS-B)

This Change provides instructions to replace existing ATC/TCAS control panel with ATC/TCAS control panel P/N G6992-242 manufactured by Gables. The new Gables panel introduces the following additional functions for the ATC and ADS-B out system:

  • ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast) Fail Annunciator – When the GPS system fails, an open input causes the ADSB fault annunciator to illuminate for the L or R transponder only if selected active. This input is directly controlled by the transponder.
  • FL (Flight level) Button – Press to momentarily see absolute altitude on the TCAS display.
  • Flight ID – previously entered thru the old control panel, but now it must be entered at the FMC MCDU.
