This STC provides operators with a cost-effective solution to upgrade the existing halogen taxi, landing, and navigation lamps to LED lights for their aircraft.

The change incorporates the replacement of the existing right-hand and left-hand wing tip lights with new B/E Aerospace LED light assemblies. Furthermore, the PAR 36 Landing/Taxi halogen lights located in the nose radome and wing leading edge are replaced with new B/E Aerospace PAR 36 LED lights, which necessitate newly designed installation brackets.

The LED lights offer benefits to the operator with improved illumination, power consumption reduction, weight savings, longer lifespan, reduced maintenance costs and greater reliability with an increased mean time between failures.
