PMV Engineering certified on-ground maintenance wireless router installation on B747 and A330 aircraft.

The wireless router (WLAN) will allow connection of the maintenance people devices through WiFi while the aircraft is on ground. The router can be connected to the communication network through 4G protocol once activated on the ground.

This modification install a static inverter (28VDC->115VAC) and a power supply outlet 115VAC 60HZ.

For safety purpose, the system architecture ensures that the wireless router is activated only when on ground.
