Doghouse Storage Solution

Fokker Services has developed a doghouse to meet customer requirements for optimized cabin storage. This unit provides dedicated space for equipment such as oxygen bottles or first aid kits, which are often stored in the overhead bins. By relocating these items, additional space is made available for passenger luggage—without compromising seat pitch.

The doghouse can be configured with either a drawer or a folding door, depending on operational preferences.

Recently, a new variant designed to accommodate the Mercury Airchair or Innovint wheelchair has been added to the product range.

This versatile solution is available for both single-aisle and dual-aisle aircraft.

The doghouse can be used to install oxygen bottle, first aid kits of for example an on board wheel chair. The access is easy by means of the drawer. It uses spaces that are normally not used. It gives the opportunity to use the luggage space for passenger bagage.

This may be helpfull if you need to comply with 14 CFR Part 382.65 of the US department of tansportation for wheel chair for aircraft with more then 60 pax.

More efficient use of available space and therefore enhance passenger convenience as the overhead luggage bin are not used for airlines equipement.
