Introduction
Installation of auxiliary wing tip fuel tanks in accordance with Safe Flight Extenders Company’s Manual SFE-35(III) dated July 15, 1959, “Tip Tank Installation, Type III Kit,” utilizing parts listed on “Bamber Wing Tanks Type III Kit Contents” dated July 15, 1959.This wing tip tank installation may be used in combination with either the wing auxiliary tanks or a baggage auxiliary tank, but not when both are installed. Complete installed weight empty is 23.7 lb. at 89.1 inches. The CG of the tip fuel is 87.0 inches.
