Installation of Datalink Capable Honeywell SSCVR into a 757-200
Overview
Introduction
This change replaces the existing Honeywell Solid State Cockpit Voice Recorder (SSCVR) with the Honeywell HFR5-V datalink
capable SSCVR. Wiring is added to enable datalink recording and datalink recording fault indication. The HFR5-V SSCVR is
capable of recording data link messages as required for Protected Mode – Controller Pilot Data Link Communication (PM-CPDLC)
and Future Air Navigation System (FANS) requirements.
