Introduction

Upgrade the T2CAS Computer software to Change 7.1. The software up-load has been performed with the unit on the aircraft in accordance with ACSS Service Bulletin 9000000-34-6016 and 9000000-34-6024. Following embodiment of the design change the TCAS/ACAS II standard is Change 7.1 functionality.


Your needs

TCAS mandatory by EASA for all aircraft with civil turbine powered aircraft with more than 30 passenger seats (or MTOM above 15,000Kg).

T2CAS mandatory by EASA for all aircraft with civil turbine powered with more than 19 passenger seats (or MTOM above 5700Kg)

-       Reduced risk of mid-air collision

-       Last Minute safety precaution if other safety precautions fail.

 

Limitations:

 

TCAS cannot display aircraft without TCAS antenna/transponders. However, it’s mandatory by EASA for aircraft with masses 5,700Kg or more to be fitted with mode S transponders.
