Originally installed WLU-2100 Wi-Fi access point is removed and replaced by ICG eRouter, which in combination with preloaded  Satcom1 AvioIP communication software enables following advanced communication features: 

• possibility to use passengers' own smartphones for voice calls (in-flight and on ground)
• selective Swift BB channel and bandwidth management for VIP and Guests with different service profiles
• the latest technology in data compression and acceleration
• dual channel aggregation with guaranteed quality of service and throughput of 700-800 Kbps
• 3G/4G-LTE GSM on ground with global roaming can be used for the fastest and cheapest Internet access in Satcom congested airport areas (SIM lock free. Up to 3 customer provided SIM cards can be used).

Satcom Swift Broadband upgrade consists of:  - Replacement of existing DLNA Type A by DLNA Type F  - Replacement of existing SRT-2100 by Swift Broadband upgraded SRT-2100B  - Replacement of two existing HST-2110 by two Swift Broadband upgraded HST-2110B  - Installation of one new high-speed configuration module HCM  - Necessary modification on coax and wires  - Rockwell Collins cabin CES software upgrade (specific for every aircraft) 

This RUAG EASA Approved modification is automatically  validated by US FAA and Canadian TCCA in accordance with existing EASA-FAA and EASA-TCCA bilateral agreements. Refer to "Validations".
