Jet Aviation Basel has developed a plug and play in-flight dishwasher (ADW) with a 3-5 minute wash cycle that requires just 3 liters of water. The user-friendly ADW is compatible with an eco-friendly soap that can be used to clean silver and aluminum dishes.

Available in different sizes to ensure the perfect fit for all galleys, including that of the B787, the ADW utilizes a quick connection system and features a customizable front design. It is qualified for taxi, take-off and landing with up to 20 kg of dishes stored inside the dishwasher.

The dishwasher is designed with an integrated drip pan and other safety benefits such as shock and vibration absorption and decompression, reducing the need to install additional components or make galley adjustments. Depending on the size selected, the dishwasher weighs upwards of 60kg.

Unlike traditional industrial dishwashers that tend to have a short wash cycle but use corrosive chemicals, Jet Aviation’s state-of-the-art ADW dishwasher boasts a 3-minute wash cycle — and is compatible with a gentle, eco-friendly soap suitable for both silver and aluminum. It also significantly reduces the number of dishes required on board, provides additional storage space and can even be used to heat up dishes before serving meals.

The ADW450, a lighter 450 mm-wide model, will fit all mid- and super mid-size business jets.
