The SkyPad In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) System provides wireless audio/video on-demand (AVOD) entertainment for passengers on board the aircraft via iPad® devices.

High definition content is streamed wirelessly to individual iPad® devices connected to the system through the SkyPad App (available for free download directly from the iTunes® store). iPad® devices can either be provided by the aircraft operator or passengers can bring their own on board to connect to the system.
The SkyPad system can be scaled to different cabin sizes or quantities of users while utilizing the same hardware.
Licensed studio content can be purchased through the content delivery service (initial baseline load of pre-packaged content, and/or a subscription package to receive new content updated monthly). Otherwise, the aircraft owner/operator can load content directly into the system for use by passengers.
Pre-recorded pre-flight safety and other passenger type briefings can also be stored on the system’s hard drive and simultaneously played on all iPad® devices connected to the system when triggered by the cabin crew using a master iPad® or flight attendant/cockpit switch.
An optional SkyMap moving map system is also available as an add-on to the Basic SkyPad system. This provides 3D moving map information displayed directly on the iPad devices connected to the SkyPad system.
