This repair provides repair design approval for the re-webbing of Pacific Scientific 2000013-series flight crew restraints.
Repair is performed by 21jAeroDesign's maintenance partner CRS Technics (UK.145.01365) and their team of skilled technicians in a dedicated workshop, using state of the art automated webbing cutting machines and CNC sewing machines.
Re-webbing of the seat restraint provides operators with a direct and measurable cost saving over replacement with new, along with a robust supply chain and guranteed lead-times.
- Direct Cost Reductions: Delivers measurable cost savings compared to purchasing new OEM replacements, helping operators optimise maintenance budgets.
- Seamless Interchangeability: Fully certified repairs mean zero impact on aircraft installation, fit, or continuing airworthiness.
- Reduced Turnaround & Supply Chain Resilience: An efficient, local re-webbing alternative that mitigates long OEM lead times and maintains operational availability.
- Environmental Sustainability: Extends the lifecycle of existing hardware components, significantly lowering the carbon footprint and environmental impact compared to disposal and replacement.
All items of used webbing are removed from the component parts of the seat restraint and replaced with new.
- The repaired seat restraint maintains its TSO-C114 qualification
- Repair certified by static test according to the requirements of SAE AS 8043
- New webbing construction same as OEM webbing
- Stitching precision sewn using CNC sewing machines
- Seat restraint labelled with OEM part marking details, including TSO number, and repair marking
- CAA/EASA Form 1 release
